London Calling—And We Keep Answering

London Again? Of Course!

There is something about the British capital that keeps us coming back, and no, it is not for the weather.

For Swedes, London is practically a second home. We love it, we hate it, or we do both at the same time. As for us? We love it, and we have no problem admitting it. A short flight, vibrant streets, and a city where you can enjoy your third afternoon pint without anyone lifting an eyebrow.

There will be plenty of walking, limited shopping (thanks to the Swedish krona doing its best impression of Monopoly money), and food—always food.

Revisiting old restaurant favourites, trying new ones, and maybe, just maybe, finally finding that bottle of Kusuda Pinot Noir. London never disappoints when it comes to eating well, whether it is Michelin stars or a salt beef bagel from Beigel Bake on Brick Lane at 2 a.m.

And yes, the ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) requirement kicks in from April 2025. We? The Swedes? Right. A slap in the face. Insulting.

Admit it—you will be back.

You might tell yourself this will be your last London trip for a while, but we both know that is a lie. The city is addictive, and there is always something new to see, do, and, most importantly, eat.
