Review: Core by Clare Smyth
A three-star Michelin restaurant in London
Clare Smyth is a highly acclaimed chef from Northern Ireland, known for her innovative and sophisticated approach to cooking. She has worked in some of the world’s most prestigious restaurants, including Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, where she was the head chef and became the first female chef to run a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in the UK.
And it’s always a pleasure to see the chef in the kitchen. Compared to other renowned chefs. The lunch service was quite busy, and at times, it felt like a normal London lunch spot. However, the restaurant had a great buzz, and we even heard Dire Straits playing in the kitchen when we went to the powder room.
Despite the busy atmosphere, Clare Smyth and her team delivered dish after dish that were made to perfection. The attention to detail in each dish was almost ridiculous, and they were both beautiful and delicious.
