Review: Vyn Hotel

Second Visit Update to Vyn - June 2024

During our second visit to Vyn Hotel, we noticed several new details. The surroundings have come together beautifully, featuring an outdoor gym, a well-organised parking area, and generous electric vehicle charging points. This time, we stayed in The View Suite on the second floor, which has a balcony with a lovely sea view, although we still prefer the cosier but smaller Garden Suite.

The hotel felt more organised than on our first visit, which was on the opening day, which is understandable. We were greeted at the entrance, and our bags were taken to our room while we dined—excellent service.

The design throughout Vyn reflects a cohesive aesthetic, all of which complement its location perfectly.

Vyn a Boutique Hotel in Österlen.

In the same building as the restaurant Vyn, there are 15 lovely rooms spread across two floors. It’s the perfect choice if you’re a guest at the restaurant, but keep in mind you don’t have to dine there to stay. All the rooms are brand new, and there’s a water-saving Orbital shower in the bathroom, which adds a touch of sustainability to Vyn.

We were particularly pleased not to find those striped linens that seem to be standard in every Swedish hotel. The pillows were comfortable, though the bed was slightly firm, but that’s typical for a new hotel.

Is there one? It was cold outside, so there was no need to check. I forgot to ask last time if it is crucial to send them an e-mail and ask.
