The subjects are ours. They come from the food, drinks, streets and small pieces of history that interest us.
The interactive guides are vibe coded, and we use AI in the research. It finds paths and possible sources to follow; it is never the source. The subjects, the checking and the final choices are ours.
A guide is not a review. Our reviews are based on places we have paid for and visited, and we write it as it was. A researched guide may include places we have not yet visited.
That does not make the guides perfect. Businesses move. Ownership changes. History is often less tidy than the plaque on the wall. We are human. If we have missed something, please tell us.
We have not been to Tokyo yet. We have a trip planned for October 2026, and The Food Stalls That Made Tokyo grew out of the reading and planning before it.
