Mere, a restaurant by renowned chef Monica Galetti and her husband David Galetti, captured our attention when it opened its doors back in 2017. As avid followers of Masterchef Professionals UK, our expectations were sky-high, and I’m pleased to say, they were met and even surpassed.
Since our first visit, a tradition was born: Mere became our go-to restaurant whenever we found ourselves in London.
Our last visit in February 2024 was just as impressive as our first. In the heart of Fitzrovia in London lies this culinary treasure, a place that has become a cherished part of our London visits.
Mere, with its fusion of contemporary European cuisine and Galetti’s Pacific influences, never fails to impress. The dishes, a testament to Monica Galetti’s exceptional talent, blend top-notch ingredients with impeccable technique, offering a dining experience that is as delightful visually as it is to the palate.
Crab and Lobster
Despite its consistent excellence and popularity, we remain puzzled that Michelin has not yet recognized Mere. Each visit, confirmed by the consistently full bookings, reaffirms our belief in the restaurant’s quality. Mere remains, without a doubt, a top choice for us in London—a place where culinary delights are served with genuine care and a touch of elegance.
